AFRICA

Women in Nature Network currently has three thriving chapters across Africa, in Kenya, Nigeria, and Tanzania.

Our chapters in Africa are some of our newest and, also, most active chapters! Our Kenya chapter, which contains a depth of experienced conservation leaders, helped guide our first cohort of mentees in 2023 and also hosted our Global Conference in Nairobi in 2023. Whether you are a young aspiring student in Africa who is looking for mentors; a community member engaged in conservation who is looking for support and ideas; or a longtime professional working in wildlife, marine, or habitat conservation or at the intersections of conservation and gender, we hope you’ll join one of our current chapters — or start one in your region!
