SOUTH AMERICA

WiNN currently has three amazing chapters across South America, in Argentina, Guyana, and Peru.

Our chapters in South America include countless women actively working in conservation in high biodiversity ecoregions. Our Argentina WiNN chapter includes a diversity of women leaders who run their own NGO’s or work with high-impact conservation organizations at regional levels. Our WiNN Guyana chapter coordinated an international WiNN event in 2018 with the goal of connecting women conservationists through community conservation. Our WiNN Peru chapter weaves the spirit of the feminism strongly into their work and, in 2020, organized our global WiNN event amidst the pandemic so that we could continue to inspire each other and share knowledge and experiences from across the globe.
