UNITED STATES

WiNN originated in Washington D.C., and this chapter remains one of our most active today. The Washington D.C. chapter is led by Dr. Leeanne Alonso and focuses on building community and networks of personal and professional support. This chapter meets for hikes, dinners, and informal get-togethers as often as the members’ busy schedules can allow.

WiNN also has active members spread across the rest of the United States, who are building up the country’s network of WiNNers. We currently have active and engaged WiNN members in Berkeley, CA, Sacramento, CA, San Francisco, CA, Salt Lake City, UT, Grand Rapids, MI, Winthrop, WA, and Gainesville, FL. While American WiNN members currently meet up more at international conferences than at local chapter meetings, they all love to connect with other women in conservation.

If you would like to establish a new chapter, join an existing one, or just become part of our broader United States WiNN network, reach out to us at womeninnaturenetwork@gmail.com
