Dr. Lisa Famolare

In her role as Conservation International’s Vice President, Nature for Climate, Lisa leads the design and implementation of Conservation International’s Amazonia strategy and program across seven countries in the Amazon, supporting their efforts to conserve nature, mitigate climate change, support sustainable livelihoods, and secure long term financing. During 25 years of efforts to conserve the biodiversity of the Guiana Shield, Lisa has designed and led programs to create protected areas, build local capacity, work with communities, access conservation finance and develop long-term financing mechanisms.
